  • The time for visiting this phenomenal work of architecture is from Saturday to Thursday.
  • The timing is between 9 AM to 10 PM.
  • On Friday mornings the mosque is open only to worshipers. It reopens for tourists only at 4.30 PM.
  • During the month of Ramadan, the mosque remains closed all day on Fridays and the visiting hours are from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Dress Code

The mosque like all other mosques in UAE follows a specific dress code for men and women.

  • Men should wear ankle length dress or trousers.
  • Shorts are never allowed.
  • Shoulders and leg should remain covered.
  • The dress should not be clinging or transparent; it should be easy flowing and loose.
  • Women should wear ankle length dresses, free flowing and loose and never clinging or transparent clothes.
  • They have to cover their hair.
  • In case they do not carry a veil or scarf, they can borrow one at the entrance and give it back on exit.
  • Shoes cannot be worn inside the mosque and should be kept outside.
  • They may keep shoes in bags and keep them somewhere outside.
